Food programs include: the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Surplus Donated Food, Senior Brown Bag Program and Senior Box Program. Not all of the food programs are specific for seniors. The areas served are Anderson, Burney, Cottonwood, Happy Valley, Lakehead, Redding, Round Mountain, Shasta Lake and Shingletown.

Good News Rescue Mission provides, at no cost, food, shelter, medical services, job training, recovery programs, chapel services and other resources for those who are in need.
